The Audition Process
The audition takes the format of a ballet class. If necessary, the auditions will be split into the following groups: Juniors (Grade 1-2 Ballet), Inters (Grade 3-4) and Seniors (Grade 5 - Advanced Ballet). Students need to be a minimum of Grade 1 ballet standard. We do not require a solo to be prepared. Boys and girls will audition together.
The audition is designed to be an experience in itself and every eligible student will be given the opportunity to audition. Every student will receive written feedback included in their result. Results are not given on the day. Students are expected to wear what they would wear for their ballet classes/ballet exams. Senior students who are “en pointe” can bring their pointe shoes, although it is not a compulsory requirement.

The audition registration fee is £12.50 and payment of this fee secures your place at the audition. You will then be added to the audition register.
