About LYB

Lincolnshire Youth Ballet (LYB) is an amateur youth ballet company auditioned from all across the region from many different dance schools. Auditions are typically held in October, January and May for each new upcoming production and are open to all students age 8 and up. The audition takes the format of a ballet class — no solo is required, and boys and girls audition together. Every student who applies gets an audition, and every student receives written feedback within 21 days regardless of result. Results are not given on the day.
